Most sales and operations professionals can relate to my experience this morning.
I was driving in the car, a little rushed, and a little nervous. I was trying to get to the office for a huge demo with one of our biggest customers.
I got a call from the person who was going to be leading the demo from my team. He could barely speak. He informed me he wouldn't be able to do the demo.
I knew by the time I got to the office there wouldn't be time to find a replacement. I couldn't wait until I got to the office to call the customer in order to postpone.
What were my options? I could pull over, fire up my laptop and hope that my broadband card found service where I was. I could call the office, find someone to look up the information for me, try and remember the phone number, have them text or email me the information, tick-tock, tick-tock, all of those options would take valuable time.
Thankfully, it was TempWorks Mobile to the rescue. I was able to look up the phone number for the contact in the matter of seconds from my mobile phone. I called and explained the situation and got the demo rescheduled...crisis averted.
Who knew such a valuable resource could be available anywhere, at any time.
